“From intern to engineer, this place gave me the space to grow into who I am today.”

I joined Kolo nearly ten years ago as a support intern. I didn’t know much about data centers back then, just that it seemed like a cool place to be. Over time, I moved into a sales engineer role, built relationships with clients, and developed both my technical and commercial skills. The best part? It all happened gradually, through real work, trust, and people giving me the chance to take on more.

There’s a lot of freedom in how I approach projects, which means I can focus on building solid solutions that actually work for our clients. I like being close to the process, from first contact to final setup, and seeing the results firsthand. It’s especially rewarding when you help someone grow their project from a small hobby to a full-fledged business.

What makes it all work is how closely teams collaborate. No silos, no finger-pointing, just people solving things together, across departments. It’s one of those rare places where communication actually works, and where everyone feels part of the same team.

We’ve got a bit of a quirky edge, which I like, it makes the work more creative and the team more fun to be around. And underneath it all, there’s a strong drive to do meaningful work. The people who thrive here are curious, hands-on, and care about building things that last, not just shipping quick fixes.

These days, I’m proud to be part of new projects and to help keep us moving forward, especially as we explore new tech like AI. I see my role as a bridge, bringing insights from clients and helping teams make smart, future-ready decisions.

If you want to grow, build cool things with good people, and be part of something evolving, Kolo’s a great place to do it.
