Dutch Business Solutions is a small IT provider based in the Netherlands, offering web hosting, domain registration, and terminal server access. Recently, the company has expanded its services to include fast, Linux-based container solutions.

Challenge

Back in 2013, Dutch Business Solutions needed a reliable colocation partner to ensure uptime, performance, and control over their hosting environment.

“At the time, we were just doing basic hosting, but the European hosting market was saturated. That’s when we rebranded to Dutch Business Solutions and decided to offer a broader range of services”, says Ronald de Jong, co-founder.

Dutch Business Solutions rents a half-private rack at Kolo’s Dronten facility, which has supported the business through years of steady development.

Ronald de Jong appreciates the easy access around the clock and the convenience of ample free parking. He also prefers the inland location, away from the crowded coastal data centre hubs.

While remote hands are available, they’re rarely needed.

“Everything just works. I was at the data centre last Tuesday, and before that it had been a year and a half. That says something. But when I do need to carry out something hands-on, it’s easy to reach and well managed.”

The partnership with Kolo has made it easier to test and launch new services, including the recent addition of a container-based Linux hosting platform aimed at new client segments. “We’re offering a fast, lightweight solution for e-commerce and WordPress. If it grows, we might expand with another rack next year”, says Ronald de Jong.
